With the HKS Z Super Turbo Muffler, the exhaust efficiency & sound pressure reduction are implemented together. The “Slotted Tail” was inspired by an owl’s feather. The owl’s feather-shaped exhaust tip has an advanced silencing effect. Releasing adequate air from the tail can reduce the air friction vibration which enables the sound to be reduced by approximately 2dB. HKS conducted intensive analysis of the sound level and frequency inside the vehicle’s cabin and outside the vehicle. Therefore, the best exhaust tone was tuned for both inside and outside the vehicle. Also, the low frequency was eliminated to present more comfortable sound.

Features:

D60.5mm x 2 Full Dual Layout

Compared to the stock pipe diameter of D45mm, the full dual layout has a pipe diameter of D60.5mm. Allowing the pipe cross-sectional area to have an equivalent diameter of 85mm, which is often seen with high output mufflers. The full dual layout helps, reducing exhaust pressure by around 40% compared to the stock one. This layout is designed for both daily & performance orientated use.

Balance of steady-state Comfort & Sportiness

Optimized silencer and using a silent chamber achieves the comfort at normal driving without spoiling performance.
