Description

HKS have adopted and renewed very popular “Independent bead shape” 4G63 yet for RB26DETT which is still very active in the tuning market. The HKS head gasket for an RB are engineered to resist severe levels of heat that are generated by high-horsepower and high-boost applications. All HKS head gaskets are constructed with multiple layers of steel and coated with a special fluorine rubber to provide exceptional sealing. HKS head gaskets are designed to accommodate standard and certain oversized cylinder bores. For most applications, multiple gasket thicknesses are available to change the dynamic compression ratio for various levels of tuning and engine conditions. (Note: HKS gaskets are not designed to cure sealing problems caused by head or block irregularities.) The HKS Stopper-Type gasket consists of the maximum layers of plates possible and utilizes a molded stopper ring around each combustion chamber opening. The HKS Bead-Type gasket features a raised bead structure around each combustion chamber to ensure a precise seal. The HKS Grommet-Type Gasket employs a metal grommet around each combustion chamber, to ensure an excellent seal between the cylinder head and the engine block. Please check with your tuner to make sure you’re purchasing the correct head gasket, at the correct thickness.

Feature

  • For the race the “Independent bead” is the main stream of the water holes or Head Bolt holes. So even if the combustion gas is leaked because of big power setting or degradation, it will reduce the risk of overheat by making it water holes independent bead.
  • By redesigning the water holes area between Head Bolt holes and bore, it will protect head from water flow in because it will prevent the crack at the Head Bolt holes block.
  • We also have redesigned the stopper and bead which make less likely to leak.
  • Bench test vehicle was 660ps and actual drive test vehicle was 600ps and 80kgm torque at a circuit.
  • The kit comes with conventional products of exhaust manifold, intake manifold and metal gasket of throttle.
